Do you think the VAIO Pocket is suitable for running with. I would like to go jogging in the morning's with my VP.
I have 2 questions.
1) What do you think the VP will be like when its moving around.
2) Does or has anyone ever ran with the VP, even to catch the bus 😜
Give me details,
Hornby!
Havn't been jogging with my vp yet, but I did have it running whilst doing a couple of hours work in the garden at the weekend including mowing the lawns so it got kinda bounced around quite a lot. No problems at all with the playback, worked perfectly!
Ok nice one.
Can i have some more feedback from people please, more so people who have been doing vigorous joking.
I recommend a 20gb NW-HD5 availble for less than a VAIO pocket ( I think), and is also smaller and much lighter. Also I have used an NW-HD3 and own a VP, and out of the two only the HD3 gave constant gapless playback. If I had the choice now, I would have an HD5.
its not very light, so make sure your tracky bottoms are tight-ish, could make for a very painful experience if your pockets are loose and they are set swinging if you know what i mean:smileycry:
my advice:
get a smaller one.
the Vaio is too big and uncomfortable.
a tiny 1gb/512MB player is the best option for jogging/doing sports.
my 2cents on this..
Has no one made a jogging band for VP yet?
I would suggest one of those tiny flash players Sony make, the NV series, then you can hang it round your neck while jogging
I have had my HD1 for a while now and I think the VP has the same G protection, it has never ever skipped on me even when Ive dropped it!
You should be fine with the VP although the weight issue may get annoying.

I've had two Vp's and neither have gave conitinous playback even when playing ATRAC3plus.
I've used it jogging. but only a couple of times. it was fine for about 10 mins then it skipped and crashed. had to reset it when i got home. my vaio crashes quite a lot tho so i'm not sure whether there is a fault with my unit, or whether this is common with others. looking through this forum it may be a problem with mine so i'll have to find out.
