VGN-FS315E Keyboard Query

The keyboard on my new vaio has some tiny numerical and maths symbols on the letter keys on the right hand side of the keyboard and I cannot work out how to use them.
Would someone please enlighten me.

I am guessing those keys are for Fn(function). To use them press Fn(usually on the far left corner of the keyboard) and which eva key u wanna use. Its more like second function on a calculator.

This is the numeric keypad. Turn on the number lock (Num Lk) key, to the right of F12, to use these.
