VGN-T2XP/S Memory upgrading and battery malfunction problem

Hei,

I own a VGN-T2XP/S. I just upgraded the memory with a 512 Memory Module (512M DDR 333 DDR SDRAM) module to 1 GB.

The computer recognizes the new memory and will start up without the battery, eg in with the AC outlet.

But with the battery, the battery light blinks all the time and with windows opens, it displays that My battery is not properly installed even though it is .
When i remove the memory, i get the same error.

Before upgrading , i did not have any problems with the battery.

Please help, have I done something wrong ?

Hi there,

no the device manager does not report any problem.

Without the battery there is no problem.
The battery seem to be working, only I get a constant error message :
you should install the battery properly.

What now ?
