weird dvd problem

Hi, I was wandering, if anybody had similar problem? Sometimes, when I try to play oryginal dvd movies my vaio fs215b is freezing, it's happening only with some dvds, while others are going without any problems. Is it posible, that drive is not working with some kind of original dvds?

When watching a movie all DVD's lose a frame or three around the middle of the viewing session. That is when the optical reader bangs into the centre of the disk and start reading back out from the centre. If you have some DVD's that skip frames it is usually because of the quality of the original burn and the latency of your computer which is contributing. Make sure you defragment regularly and reboot before playing a DVD. Use TuneUp Utilities from here to get things working sweetly

i had the same problem a month ago with my dw d56a drive it would play some dvd s....but now it doesnt play any of them...i had to send it back it a problem with the dvd drive ....
