Monitor Problem with VAIO VGN-AR31M

Hello

Recently my monitor displays 3 vertical lines 2 on the left side and 1 in the right side they are blue and pink it's a failure of some component... not sure what kind of component...

Nevertheless I would like to ask if some of you have similar problem and if you send your laptop to repair how much did it cost you.

Hi Paulo,

try connecting your Vaio to an external monitor, do you still have the same problem.?

Do you get the same blue line when in safe mode.?

To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..

Do you get the same problem in the BIOS

To enter the BIOS restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F2 key repeatedly..

To exit the BIOS press F9 to reset the BIOS to default and press F10 to save and exit..
