Hi,
I am interested in purchasing the Z4 SGP771, however I would also like to be able to use it to make phones calls( not VOIP) via my T Mobile USA sim card which I use currently in my mobile phone. The SIM card is NANO and has voice and data capability.
Now the issue I have already encountered whilst researching is that some users for this model in the USA and other countries claim they can make voice calls via the in built dialler and some claim it cannot with a USA T Mobile sim card.
I have downloaded the Z4 white paper and it does not state which models can make the voice calls using the cellular network, but it merely states that in some markets this function is disabled. So which markets are they enabled or disabled in? and more importantly which model works for making voice calls?
I have so far seen two models available to me in the USA, SGP771 LTE+WIFI part number model : 13035541 and 43015809.
The 43015809 is the "international " version of the SGP771 LTE+WIFI, and the 13035541 is US Specific version I believe.
Can someone that runs and supports this community forum please advise? Many thanks.
I wish it were that easy to identify, hence why some of the international unlocked ones have their dialer disabled? One model that I had verfied with disabled dialler functionality: 43016091UPC: 7311271522980 unfortnately I dont have the 8 digit sub code XXXX-XXXX
Below is the one I managed to find that has the dialler enabled ( got lucky ) Using Xperia Service Menu App from playstore:
customization ver 1296-4830 R9C
phone software: 1292-0698_32.2.A.0.305
Global=LTECA- user ( non dialer version would state Global=nodial-user ) I think
