My tablet was left charging overnight while connected to my PC, with Android Studio running (coincidentally). When I checked it in the morning, it had the blinking red light problem and would not respond to power / volume controls to either start or soft reset.
Then I noticed that the Console Log in Android Studio showed pages of errors that occurred overnight. They seem to indicate the file allocation table is corrupt. There are many messages similar to this:

I would like the reflash the firmware but, unfortunately, it is no longer is detected as a USB device by the flashtool.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Is it possible to reflash by booting from the removable SD card?
