My battery drains very quick. 100 to 0% in about 12 hours even when I do nothing with my phone, when I play it's faster drainage.
Does this happen to anybody? I've already taken my phone to shop to fix this but no issue was found.
And this is what is happening with my phone when I sleep.
Have to charge twice a day. Sometimes have to wait my phone turned off until I can charge. It is really frustrating...

There's lots of google apps you can disable
Here's a backbone of the minimum apps needed that is stable. Authenticator, and Maps are not required, I just use them. You can try to find a way to disable some apps you never use.

Having a similar problem with my newly bought Xperia X. Implemented the OP's solution and it seems to prevent me from gaining 4G signal? UK user on Virgin Mobile (EE) network.

That's because 4G is not a CDMA/GSM Band.
If you require 4G, that fix will not work for you

Thanks for the reply, info is appreciated.
Any idea if there is another fix that will work? Or am I going to be left with a week old phone that doesn't hold charge for longer than 16 hours on light-to-moderate use (that ironically I got to replace a 2-year-old Xperia Z3 that I now realise has a better battery life...)?
