The battery stays at the percentage when it was plugged in for a while then starts going down.
What is weird also is that it reaches 0% and stays there for a long time before it turns off.
This is also accompanied with some heat build up in the phone.
Anyone knows of any solution to this?

I have found that charging in general works fastest with the charger connector that came with, plugged into the mains. Any other connector or plug combo or charging from pc produces all kinds of inconsistent results.
