scn shooting mode the camera with the new update gives an error, does anyone have info?

Hello people,

Bought my Xperia L almost 2 months ago...been using it extensively since then!

Recently I noticed that while shooting videos, the camera loses focus midway and remains out of focus till you stop recording the video. To refocus it, I have to switch to the 'Normal' mode and then back to 'Video' mode of the camera. Till the point when it loses focus, the video quality is excellent, but after that point, it screws up the remaining part of the video.

Is it a software issue or a hardware one?

Please if anyone has resolved the problem then let me know.

I have an xperia l and its camera just stopped working all of a sudden and everytime I try to open the camera it says "camera has stopped working", its not been a month that I've bought this phone. Please help

updated to 4.2.2 n India via SUS..camera in Video mode geting "Unfortunately Stopped" after 2 min or so  while recording :smileyworried:..never had this problem before the update..any help would be appreciated

I recorded a video for 3 minutes constantly taking the 1M snapshots so that it may trigger the crash you mentioned. Neither the video crashed while recording nor while taking snapshots. I suggest you do a repair. But you can also wait if anyone else has the same bug.
