i updated my p1i sonyericsson but now my phone is blank people at the cell shop say it has a virus

yes but they say its going to cost me R350

Have you tried re-running the update service on your phone? What exactly do you mean that the phone has gone blank? Can you not access the menu at all?

IS NOTHING I CAN DO MYSELF OTHER THAN PAYING R350

I mean it does nothing at all  it does't  even charge an it does't connect to my pc anymore
