Backlight shines through Displayedges

Hi Folks,

i purchased my XSP 4 Days ago. After 2 Days it seems that my Display is loosing its connection from the Displayglass on some Edges.If i now tillt the Display a little, I can see lightstripes (Hairlines of Light) from upper right edge to the bottom and the horizontal Bottomline after the Displaybuttons. Display is working fine so long but by the light that comes through the Edges it lights more on the surface of my Display instead on the Backside. Any Suggestion?

I have a similar problem too.

If I look at the screen from quite extreme angle from upside while screen is on with backlight, at the bottom side I can see a think bright, backlight line.

Same on the left side of the phone.

Not causing any visible defects though, while normal viewing angles, no backlight bleeding or similar effects.

Is it normal?

This phone has potential, but has a lot of small problems..

A Sony's customer care here is terrible.

If you ever get a response, it's always the same:

1. Reset / Reinstall phone with SUS, PC Companion

2. Bring to service center
