Can't connect to inet.........

I acquired Xperia X10 for 5 days now.....Through Wifi i can connect with inet and other stuff but thru mobile network i cannot surf?

Please help...........

Check that you have roaming allowed in settings.

Check that you have the correct data account setting for you mobile network.

Go to Settings>Wireless Control>Mobile Networks and make sure you have MMS & Data ticked also Network Mode is set to GSM / WCDMA is showing and not just GSM

One more thing. I am in India, using Vodafone. I had Vodafone Live activated, but this did not work in connecting internet properly & I had to subscribe to Vodafone Mobile Connect.

What I am trying to say is that you require the higher version of accessibilty from your operator. Might have a look there also.

FYI........same sim card i used with my nokia e66, i can connect with internet...........

Does your 3G symbol appear in the notification area.

Also try resetting your operators network internet settings

Settings>Wireless Control>Mobile Networks>Auto Internet Settings

Select you operator and plan if on pay as you go and click OK

You will get a message box appear telling you what has been set up, press the back key to exit to your home screen

Turn off your phone for a minute and restart it.
