I have an acro s with android 4.1.2.
I recently installed a new screen lock program called dodol locker, but when I use it, the default lock screen shows up as well and I have to swipe to unlock the phone. In other words, I have to unlock the phone twice. I would like to disable the default lock screen to avoid this conflict. I have searched on the internet and found out there's supposed to be a "none" option in the settings for screen lock methods, but the option "none" is non-existant on my phone.
I have no idea why this option is not there, it's not that it's greyed out or anything, the option "none" is not there. There are no device administrators enabled.
Can anyone please help me with this problem? It's very frustrating.
Thank you!
I can't see the picture, upload it to box.com and post the link here
If you are not using Generic firmware ie: your phone is locked to a network then it's possible that the network removed this feature for a reason you would have to ask them about - If you aren't using generic firmware then the only way to have None as an option is to manually flash a generic firmware
