Contacts dissapear

Hi,

I have been using Sony Xperia Z for about 4 months now and I haven't had almost any trouble (except some bugs after the update to android 4.2.2).

However, today ALL of my contacts just dissapeared. It is absolutely frustrating and makes the whole phone unusable.

• I have tried reset via Power and volume up buttons
• I have tried adding new contact, but when I do - The contact doesn't display.
• All of the options in "Filter" menu are checked.
• When I try to import contacts (I have saved a copy recently) it tells me that I do not have enough memory?!? I have got 500 MB on Internal storage and 500 on the SD Card.
• I have enabled the synchronisation, but it doesn't sync none of the contacts.

Could someone please help me and is there any solution other than reinstalling the whole android, because I am full of recently added apps and customisations...

Your problem is caused due to all the option in Filter being checked. You want none of the options in Filter checked and all of the options in Contacts to Display checked.

I have the same problem!

Have done what you said, but still! Contacts are missing.

Everything started whit that I was getting a new SIM-card and when I restarted my phone, all contacts where gone, there are still gone from the other SIM-card to!

I had this problem with my phone. In Contacts/Filter menu, have you got the boxes checked with a tick in the - Phone Contact and SIM Contact?

Thats the only way I could sort my problem out. The only trouble is, I have two of each contact listed!
