Default SMS App Problem

How can i change my default SMS app ?? Now my default SMS app is whatsapp.

You can disable the messaging app 

settings > apps > all > messaging > disable

There is no disable option my android version is 2.3.7

Indeed that option its only available on Android 4.0 and above

I don't follow, if you want to uninstall an app with GB you will have to root your phone

Whatsapp dont support sms? How did you recieve msgs in whatsapp?

Whatsapp is a data messaging service, it does not and from my understanding can not send standard sms messages.
