Downloads problems

I have an XPERIA U ST25i and  have a problem that needs your help, I'm unable to download applications from androidmarket or update, when I lunch download or update, it starts show downloading bt it doesnot downloading even 1%..its continuosly happens not only on my mobile operator bt also on wifi network..i bought the phn 2month ago but till i could not download or update a single app from android market or update center of the phn..now i m tottally disapointed with this phn..plzz hlp me

That's a bit strange. This is usually a problem with the connection but since you've tried both mobile networks and Wi-Fi I suggest that you try to master reset the phone then add your Google account again.

Also check if you have disabled Download manager and Downloads at Settings-Apps--All apps--Download manager, and Settings-Apps--All apps--Downloads. If not, try clearing data by tapping on the 'Clear data" option on the same screens and then try downloading from play store. If nothing works you may try resetting the phone to its factory settings.
