Firmware .532 - .526 - GOING BACKWARDS ...

Since I left .475 the phone has been a mess...

Firms .526 & .532 Introduce the Backlight Optimization,  it washes out the colors & contrast to save battery, if it goes off the phone takes nearly 2 minutes to boot and sufers from the SOD becaming unstable.

My phone has not been modified, it has been updated via PC Companion and the Sony Update Service.

Honestly I dont know what else to do with it, the firm .475 and the previous one were stable.

As far as I am aware I'm not the only one suffering from this issues.  

I appreciate the fast updates but we need aswell updates that get things fixed.

We had .510 - .526 - .532 3 Firms had been released and so far no fix.

am also having the same problem after updating it to the latest firmware.

In .510 there was no SOD for me.

I'm still on .510. Should I update the phone? I just have the proximity sensor issue and backlight optimisation issue.

I would suggest you not to update the firmware.

I had no issues with .510

I updated it to .532 and voila, the sod issue / light optimization issue came up.
