Internet not working

I have bought my xperia u recently.I cant run the applications with Internet but i can run with WI.Fi kindly give the solution for that.

does the internet work with wifi (test it with the browser, go to time.gov)

did you enable data connection on your phone ?

is only for some apps or for every app?

check your proper internet  settings provided by network or contact customer care.

First of all you need to enable data connection from settings> wireless and network> mobile network and tick on data enable.  After that go to settings> xperia > internet settings. This will download settings for your carrier.  Hope it will help...
