The LED bar does not switch on during charging, but works fine with other apps like walkman, album etc.
Tried switching on and off..

Try to start your phone in safe mode to see if the behavior may be related to any 3rd party application installed in your phone:

If the problem persists in safe mode I suggest that your repair the phone software using PC Companion:
http://www.sonymobile.com/update
In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > "Repair phone".
