message tones

I have only just got my X10 but keep missing messages as the message tones on the X10 are so short..On the phone I had before you could set a song as a message tone so you had as long as the song went on for to hear you had a message. Does anyone know if this is possable with the X10?

Use an application named Handcent SMS whic is available free on Android Market. It allows you to set a reminder tone for messages that you miss. If you don't want to use the application, make a folder namef "notifications" in your SD card and copy a music file that you want to set as message tone to this folder (.ogg format preferred). Now from sound and display settings, you can set your tone as the notification tone for SMS.
