Power switch not working

So I have a Sony Xperia M and I`ve hat it for exactly a year now, last weak I took my phone out of my pocket to check the time and just like that, all of a sudden, the power button wasn`t working, it woudln`t budge. My battery just drained and I have no clue how to turn it on. I will try with Sony pc companion to see if I can in some way turn it on. Do you guys have any alternatives to this??? Please help.

may be you can change the power button fungtion with another button like volume button or soft key button?
