problem updating x-10 mini pro

have tried updating my x10 mini pro for the last few days.. i get as far as step 3 updating, the phone connects i can mount the sd and then nothing, am i possibly doing somethin wrong or is there a trick to it ? Any help would be very appreciated

I suggest you try to update the software using Update Service. This can be downloaded from www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice.

This is done with the phone powered off and via the usb cable.
