request for update e-mail app

Hello.
E-mail do not work fine for me. 
For example I am downloading my e-mails and it is downloading from the las one since years ago... I'd like to download my NEWEST e-mails...
The other thing is that even I've got some of my e-mails and will want to "refresh" it - if there are some new e-mails it will donload it but many times will not show anymore the older ones!!! How is that???

Another problem is that if for example I checked some e-mails on my pc and on pc it is marked as "already read", on my Z it will never download... as well as mails that goes to "spam" folder - Z will not download it... 

What's wrong with this e-mail app??? 
It is completely annoying, can't it work as on iPhone??

And what if somebody is using it for work? 

This application have to be completely redesigned as in current state it is simply buggu, useless and annoying only.

I want to download my e-mails from the newest, even if it is already on my pc or goes to spam folder, whatever. And I want to keep it !!! Not delete from Xperia after I refresh new ones... 

Please fix this application as it is broken.

Something must be wrong with your phone or possibly the email account in this case. The email app should display all emails in your inbox sorted chronologically with the newest email at the top.

Have you tried clearing data for the email application under Settings -> Apps -> All?

If that doesn't help, does the same account work fine in another client like K9 Mail?

If you can see other folders or not depends on if you're using POP3, IMAP4 or ActiveSync. With POP3 you can't access different folders so you will only see emails in "Inbox". If you use IMAP4 or ActiveSync you can tap "Inbox" at the top and view all folders.

Also note that if you have this email account configured in your computer the email application in your computer must be set to leave a copy on the server. Some email applications (Outlook Outlook Express etc.) will remove emails from the server with default settings when you send/receive.
