scanning barcode or q code

i am using tipo single , i cant scan barcode or q code with phone , if camera quality is bad than why company has provided the software neoreader???

Did some testing on a Tipo (both single and dual) and I have no problems scanning qr/barcodes. Have you tried some different ones?

i tried but it is not working still, can you suggest me what shoud be the distance and how long should i scan ?????

maybe you can readd barcode reader in your phone

It's not likely to be the problem of the pixel of the camera. When scanning, you put the camera above the image(make sure not too close that the complete image can't get inside the scene), and then the camera will automatically focus to capture the image and read it.

Here are some other explanation, the QR code itself is too small? or the camera lens is not convertible ??

The problem is the camera in the phone is not autofocus.  This means if the bar code is small, you have to move the camera close to the barcode and it can't focus in so the code is clear.

I have a small magnifying glass that I hold against the camera lens and this fixes the problem 100 percent.

You can see this problem by pointing the camera to your watch.  As you move in closer to the watch dial, the numbers get all blurry.  Try this with any camera that has autofocus and the image will remain sharp.

The Tipo is a great phone for the price, but Sony should have spent an extra $2 and added autofocus.
