Software Repair

I am trying to do software repairs in my XPeria SL. Here i have seen many suggestions to do repair from SUS. when i connect to SUS all it shows it that my phone have latest software. Can anyone tell me how to perform Repair with SUS??

You should go on with the process,it should prompt you whether you want to repair software.

No it doesn't prompt for any repair option. all it says is that Your phone already has the latest available software installed!!!

And after checking,it should make the repair/reinstall actual software possible(I do not remember exactly because I have not used it for some time now)
