Songs getting stuck

So i've bought my phone not even 20days back and now i tend to have a problem with the walkman.

whenever i play any track it will et stuck for a fraction of sec andcontinue...the same thing happens when i press the lock button.

i did try resolving by downloading the task killer apps. Weren't that helpful!! Help Plz

To perform a software repair on the handset, please do the following.
 
To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support  
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start. 
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

I have read a very similar complaint made by an Xperia E user in another forum. Since your phone is new, you may try clearing data and cache of the walkman app first, and then try listening to walkman. Go to Settings-All apps--Walkman--Clear data and Clear cache. If problem persists, see how much free RAM you have at Settings--Apps--Running. If available RAM is less than 60 MB or something, then you may be running too many apps in the background like social networking apps, chat apps, live wallpapers, third party home screen launchers, task killers, etc. Try stopping or uninstalling any unnecessary apps and then try again. Also, what version of firmware do you use? Is it the latest 11.3.A.2.23?
