Still Restarting Problem

I have ICS update for a week (I updated my phone as soon as was possible)

Problem: I wanted to "wake up" my phone as usual (by single short press power button), but it happend only black screen with slide unlock bar. Slide to unlock didn't work. So i tried to restrat my phone by press power button and volume up, the phone never successfully turn on! After "XPERIA" inscription it continues to another restart and my Sola will restarts again, again and again (now it's about two hours of non-stop restarting).

I tried to connect phone to computer but not successfully (restarting doesn't stop). I tried to connect to computer with pressing volume down. I tried to connect with this app "http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/" But i cannot connect phone from "turn off mode" cause restarting doesn't stop. Sometimes when i try connect to computer phone stucks on screen "XPERIA" and nothing else will happen.

How can i turn off my phone? What can i do?

It sounds like it would be wise to try to perform a repair of your phone's software with our program Sony Update Service.

Hi, I'm also experiencing the same problem as above. I managed to turn in off by pressing the power and volume up button together, but when I start to turn it on, the same thing happens. I now have it plugged in to PC Companion, but it says that it can't connect to my phone. Will I still be able to do the updating as suggested above?
