Strange sound

I was doing something and I noticed that there is a very strange sound coming from the back of my phone. Near the camera to be exact. It sounds like an old hard disk and a bit like static. When the phone is locked it goes away?

it is a bit difficult for me to tell you the cause without actually hearing it myself. However in your opinion does it sound like a hardware noise like a lose part etc, or something else?
