Tethering & Hotspot Issue

For both the WIfi & USB tethering options it gives me:

!Attention Msg - "Network Error Occured"

I am not getting the problem as to why its not working on my Xperia J though I have PC Companinon installed on my system to be on the safer side and the same SIM does work well with Nokia PC Suite to connect to the internet. Is this some issue with SONY mobiles??

Please provide a solution to this problem!!

I recommend that you first contact the operator you're using to check that you have the correct APN-settings needed for tethering under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names and that you also check with them if your subscription allows tethering.

With Android 4 and later it's possible for the operator to see if you're using tethering and block it if your subscription doesn't allow it.
