Update after root

Now i'm use xperia e c1505..

after i root my xperia , can i update the firmware by OTA or use computer??

my friend say if i root my xperia i will never can update my phone firmware forever

Although it's possible, I don't think Sony will like this...

Yes it can update
If you unlock bootloader then No
If you only rooted it will update but you will loose root functions after update
