Hi.  I am enquiring as to how I keep my phone upgraded via the internet.  I was advised that this was the best way to keep it up todate.

As in firmware then download Pc Companion http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/ apps etc are done via the update centre app and 3rd party apps via the Play store

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Updates in some cases can also be done directly with the handset, you should receive a notification to let you know when an update is available, when this happens simply connect to a Wifi connection and try perform the update, it will advise if this can be done via the phone or if it must be done via PC/Mac.
