Walkman app issue

Whenever I insert my sony earphones & open walkman app to listen songs, the mobile automatically restarts by itself. Again if I try to open the app, same thing happens.
I visited the sony service center on 23/11/2013, they reinstalled the OS and said its resolved. But am still facing the same problem.
Kindly provide me a solution to overcome this issue. My phone is just 25 days old.

So this issue is triggered by launching the Walkman application? Or is it triggered by the headset?

Try replicating this running in safe mode to check if any third party app could be involved.
