Water damage

I closed all the taps before taking a video inside the water. I took the phone out and y dried it. It worked perfectly during 1hr, but then the display became dark and it stop showing an image. I opened all taps an it didnt work. But then, whe I removed the simcard it worked, but the displayed flashed and the corners were blue. Finally, after 1 hour the displayed died,. The phone still charges, the alarm works every single day. How can I solve this problem?

I would contact Sony Xperia Support.

Yes, as mentioned above contact your local Xperia Care Centre.........insist on a VACUUM test to determine if your phone is indeed waterproof with all the flaps tightly closed.

Good luck :smileysmileywink:

Here in Croatia a guy took his Z1 compact to a swimming pool to take some photos of his family under water. In less than one hour after that event, some functions of Z1 compact died. The official service center said that the warranty was void etc.

So, try contacting your official service center but don't get your hopes up too high.
