Why these stock apps use data??

Help me!
Am using Xperia Neo V (2.3.4),stock Rom. Can anyone explain why these stock apps use data?

1. system.shell
2. system.root
3. keypad (i dont use google voice stuff by the way)

In a single month they use lotsa data running into MBs instead of mere KBs
please help

I don't know about the first two, but the keyboard app downloads words for its dictionary from time to time, so uses some data.
