wifi and portable hotspot problem

Hi, i just bought xperia z2 couple of weeks a go. After using wifi and mobile data without problem in Indonesia, now im having problem when using it in korea. At first it was okay, then i used it as portable hotspot without problem. Now thw wifi and portable hotspot cannot turn on at all. Its not on then off, it just like loading forever. And i notice my wifi mac address is unavailable. Can anyone please help me. Thanks

Could be it's been blocked as some features or sites etc are banned in that country

I dont think its blocked, because im using a sim card that made for foreigner to use. Moreover, the wifi, bluetooth and portable hotspot was working before, using the same sim card. It just suddenly not working, tried software update using mobile data but no available update.

That does seemed to be a network issue/restriction

It may have been working before but your IP may have been tagged as visiting banned sites and blocked

if it is network restriction, why cant i turn on the wifi and bluetooth ? it was working just fine before.

now i just did a pc companion repair my phone, and it just got worse. it wont turn on wifi so i cant login to my google account. and little message keep popping up "Read error. Try again". i think i just got a defective sony xperia z2. i dont know if sony Indonesia would replace it with a new one. just bought it about couple of weeks ago and considering im oversea until next month. This really makes me regret buying a sony (it was my first sony smartphone).

tried it and still the same. the wifi toggle is gray colored with "wifi turning on..." never fully turned on with the read error try again message keep popping up infinitely. MAC address always shows unavailable.

My Xperia Z2 is officially a dead and useless.

i left it with over 70% battery when i went to sleep, woke up about 6 hours later and the phone is dead.

i thought maybe suddenly the battery drop to 0 and it turn off. But after charging it for hours its still unable to turn on

tried everything, hold power, power and vol up, power and vol down, hard reset, pc companion. Nothing, not even vibrate at all. The only thing thats still work is when i plugged the charger, the red led turn on. Thats all.

Called sony before the phone died to fix the wifi things, they told me to keep repair it using pc companion. And they probably wont give me a new phone because the warranty policy for exchange only works in two days, over that they will send it to service centre which would take about a month or even more.

I would not bother looking into a sony smartphones anymore in the future. First experience already so bad.
