XAV-612BT MirrorLink

Hi,

I am having trouble getting my MirrorLink to work with my Z1. 

Neither device can detect on another. I am using the MHL cable provided with the stereo. I have just updated the firmware to 1.20 on the stereo, I did read somewhere that the firmwire version required for mirrorlink to work needs to have a 'JR' prefix however I cannot find any firmware with any prefix? It just says 1.20.

Can anybody help?

Go to the website of sony Australia. Under support you can search "XAV-612BT".

Then you must find the firmware 1.30 (Date September 2014).
