Hi there!

Before updating with PC Companion, I noticed that my front camera no longer worked at all. I thought the update might fix this, but not only did it not fix it, my phone is slower, apps cease to function or cannot function while using other apps. So it would seem the update did more harm than good. I've tried resetting it, I have not tried the factory reset, might this help?

I would suggest that you try to make a factory reset or reinstall the phone software using PC Companion: 

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone".

If the front camera still doesn't work I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information.
