This phone is so full of bugs and errors it is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!
Why should I have to reinstall the software at least once a week?

It's a pity that you have such bad experience with your Xperia E. I have used it now for half a year and I am very satisfied with it. You should not expect the same performance as a high-end 700 dollar model, and not load all the apps you can possibly get, because the phone's RAM memory is rather limited, but for my purpose it performs very well. I think it has exceptional value for money.
I've found a solution for the lag problem after locking the screen, it will dramatically increase your XE experience. The only thing you'll need is the SetCPU application (and obviously a rooted device) to configure the way your processor works. The solution it's quite simple, and consists in setting the cpu to performance governor while the phone screen is off, preventing it from entering deep sleep mode. I did a screenshot of my profile page on SetCPU to indicate the way i configurated my device.
I consider that solution better than using apps like Softlocker or No Sleep because these apps crashes often and they not 100% guarantee that your device won't enter deep sleep mode.

I use entropy fixer to set entropy values to 128. It helps a bit with gaming lags.
