Xperia L Album Problems

Why is it all my old photos are on the Album Main Page under "Pictures" and also categorised as Dec 2014, but all my newly taken pictures do not appear there?

This is a huge problem! How can I fix it?

BTW, this phone is one week old. I only just started using it.

Settings > apps > all > album > clear data > restart your phone > check again
