Hi there!
I had updated my Xperia P to jelly bean through Nabeel's indicated method using flashtool http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239 The problem was that my phone's battery went out like in 4-5 hours without usage that is! Then I browsed through forum and saw that repairing through SUS helped people, but for me the 1st time I repaired it worked like charm, but after 3 days I was back to square one, again the battery went out after 4 hours, this time I used PCC to repair and for 8-9 hours it worked and then again I saw this problem
Is this happening with everyone or is it just me?
And secondly can I directly flash the ICS version back by flash tool as mentioned by Nabeel if this problem persists and there is no solution? What I mean I dont have to downgrade to GB first and then ICS? o.o
And my phone came with ICS on default firmware
most likely its an intrusive app acting up
taskiller, antivirus task manager, booster apps.
I dont have a task killer yet, as for Anti virus I have McAfee the default anti virus that came with it o.o I have wiped out all the apps I had installed while flashing, as for any other app, I am sure I am not aware of any which can make this problem persist!
uninstall mcafee > restart yourphone and try again.
don't use any antivirus it's useless.
Task Killers, antivirus a strick no no
Charged my phone completely
Uninstalled Mcafee and restarted my phone about 2 hours ago and left it! (No usage at all)
And the battery percentage shown now is 72%
Is it normal?! o_O The power management went from 2 days 16 hours to 1 day 22 hours! Stamina mode has been active since days!
Thank you for the info sir!
