I have put a app that monitor temperature of xperia device. in a moment of charging i had alarm that my device is "overheating " 42 C. Is this normal or not?
if you're using it on an hour or more then yes it would probably go hot. im using xperia p and i played a lot of games and after a few minutes i can feel it heating up, but i dont mind it and just continue playing. as a conclusion it is normal
It's pretty normal that the phone gets hotter then normal when playing charging, playing games, using power consuming apps, WiFi etc. The phone has built in functions to prevent over heating, so if the phone gets too hot, it will shut down processes to prevent damaging the phone. If the heat gets to critical levels, it will give you a warning message and then shut down.
i have the same problem with you, but in my case, my xperia p getting overheat when i turn on it and there is not an application is opened. how to solve that?
Your phone heats without use?It could be apps acting up or battery problem.
