Xperia SP problem after the software update

After I upgraded to Andriod 4.1.2 on my xperia sp the light effercts does not work even though all the option are selected in the settings i.e. Music beat, photo album, notification for charging and incoming calls and any alerts. 

Also the burst feature shows up in the Apps under All tabs as unlimted burt however the feature is missing in the cam. Over all the 4.1.2 has not been impresive. as the 4.1.1 I hope these issues are fixed and the 4.2.2 or the 4.3 is available and is much more smoother than the 4.1.2.

Please advise how do I get the above resolved or would I need to do a factory reset.

You can test the LED light in the service menu. Open the dialer and press *#*#7378423#*#*. Go to service tests > LED/Illumination. Does the LED work in this menu?

Unfortunately the burst option is not available in the camera on Xperia SP.

Maybe you can try to perform a factory reset to see if it solves the problem. the led notifications sure do work a lot lesser than when it was not on 2.254 update.
