Xperia tablet charing problem

I have a Xperia tablet. Approx 18 months old. Now the charging systew doesn't work properly. Put in plug and wiggle about and it sometimes starts to charge but more often it won't. I've looked on ebay and you can buy new charging sockets for the tablet. But I've bedw to a few repair shops and nobody bbw repair it. Or won't. Any help please. Thanks.
