Xperia Tipo Battery issue

Hi,

I have purchased Xperia Tipo couple of days back however I noticed after fully charging the battery it was completely discharging/drained out/dead in few hours.then monitored the problem 2-3 days and submitted the handset to Service Center, They retured me the handset next day and informed me that it was software issue and they have removed the virus (!!!) and they claim the issue is fixed.

Once I back from the Service center I again fully charged the mobile in the evening and next day morning Mobile Battery was completely dead.

Ticket no which I raised for this : 12092500137

Can you please look into urgently or replace me the handset....!!!!

I got my handset replaced after the first one had touchscreen problems. This second one has got a battery problem. The battery heats up like a hot potato while charging.

I am really fed up with this Xperia Tipo experience.

Hi,

I already submitted my phone to local service center again and awaiting their response.

however they have informed me that report has submitted to Sony , can you ask service center to raise DOA ? I'm fed up with that faulty xperia tipo handset.

Finally I got DOA from Sony for the faulty handset and going to get new one...

My name is rajashekar from andhra pradesh. i bought tipo dual in last august. after i update the software. since last month my battery works perfectly. bt last 7 days battery drains up quickely. normally it takes max 3 hours to get full charge but now it takes 10 hours to get full charge. i don't know what problem is this!!!
please help me to rid of this issue.

As it takes long to charge the battery you may also want to try another charger.

If that doesn't help i suggest that you contact a service location or local Sony Xperia support (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/) for assistance.
