I have a xperia tipo dual, it reboots every now and then. pls help.
I suggest that you perform a software repair to the device, this will help clear out any issues related to courrupted data located on the handsets memory. This can be done using PC Companion
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/
Please note that this will not affect the SIM card, it will however remove data from the handsets memory, Applications, Messages, Phone logs and contacts on the phones memory.

I have the same problem and your helpful reply doesn't work. Like others, I have sent my phone to Sony for repair and they say there is nothing wrong with it. Well that isn't so. It's most likely a firmware bug.
SONY NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM and issue a bug fix; and stop telling us to "FLASH" the phone!!
unhappy sony customer,

Hi, I have the same 'reboot problem'
In addition I have to say that this may happens a lot of times during a day, and after that mey work fine for several days !!!
The most important is that every time it reboots, it empties the battery (see attached image).
The problem occurs even after hard reset.
I don't know if the battery causes the problem
