xperia v internal storage bug? problem !

hi. today i jsut bought xperia v and im from the philippines and the phone is great, but when i went deeper after i purchased the phone, i found out that there is only 3.7gb avaiable internal memory AND ITS SUPPOSE TO BE 8GB! what is the meaning of this... i feel really cheated right now.... how am i able to see the 8gb phone internal memory?! PLEASE HELP ASAP

That is normal. Somy of the memory are used for the system applications and other media. You can delete some applications adn move your media to your SD Card.

Sony Xperia V has a 8GB flash memory. 

As you can see in the whitepaper for this model:

"Memory comprises 1.2 GB of firmware, 2 GB of “Phone memory” for downloaded applications, and
about 3.7 GB of “Internal storage” for music, pictures and movies, and some application data."
