Xperia Z Mobile Data Issue

I have my Z1, i turned it all off, from the information provided to turn it all off. but clearly it does not work. my Network provider keeps charging me for mobile data even though my phone should not be using any mobile data. so please tell me how the **bleep** you trun the data off. Should have stuck with the iphone, what it says on the tin you get. sony seems to just be **bleep**.

Is the data off or are you on wifi with data on, if you send or receive MMS you will use your data, also is your phone locked to a carrier/network branded? the issue might be your network
