Hi guys,
I have really big problem with my Z2, well I was drawing on my phone using I think it was black gel pen.
It left some of the ink on the screen so I took Z2 for a wash, I use just a basic sponge with some FAIRY Washingup Liquaid and the wash everything of the phone with water and now Z2 doesn't recognize any touch.
I've reset it, hard reset it, turn it off and no fix.
Also, no water was get it as all flaps were closed and I check the paper above sim and it's white.
It does react to water pour on it but not for my fingers.
Any idea what's wrong?
I can't it doesn't recognize my fingers, it only reacts to water...
I even try to repair via PCC hoping that problem is on software side but no.
Any other idea?
Tried them already, told me to sent Z2 but I was hoping that some1 would come up with something.
It seems to be a hardware issue, follow @Phy 's advice and contact your local Xperia Care
There's another alternative, to repair your phone with PCC
I've tried repairing using PCC and still no luck.
So no other way then sending it to Sony, do you thinks guys they could accept it under the warranty?
Once you send it request a vacuum test if they say its water damaged
