Tasks/ToDo-list

Hi.

I just purchased a Z3. The Active Sync works well regarding E-mail, Contacts and Calendar (/appointments). However, the tasks (To do-list) from Outlook are not available. When trying to display "Tasks" in the Z3 Calendar menu, the app stops every time.  I assume these data is synced as well? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Sorry to hear that you have issues synchronizing tasks.

The ActiveSync client also supports tasks. You can enable it under Settings -> Exchange ActiveSync -> [your account].

Could you try to disable and then enable synchronization of tasks in this menu and see if it helps? If it doesn't help, also try removing the account and add it again.

Hi,

No, the suggested solutions did not solve the problem.

I have deleted the sync settings (all synced data disappeared) and installed them again (data was synced to the phone again).

After this selecting "Task" makes the calendar stop.

I am thankful for your following up, and appreciate other suggestions. Thanks!

Best regards

Ole

Using Outlook or Outlook Web Access, could you try creating another folder for tasks in your account, move your tasks to that folder, sync again and see if the issue remains?

I tried it, but it is still same. No same - Calendar crash just after start.

Before this I tried factory reset. And before I look to Calendar/Task settings and there was only Phone task, no Exchange task.

Thank you

Progress - after next factory reset and new synchronization with task in different folder Calendar start. But list of Task is empty (new folder has tasks).

When make new task in main task folder, Calendar crash again. And when I deleted this task, Calendat start.

If is main task folder empty, Calendar work.

But in phone I not see second Task folder.

Thank you

Would it be possible for you to test if the same thing happens with another account on this server? What server are you using?

I cleared old account.

I made different user on our mail server.

I set new acount.

If I made new task on phone, task correctly show on Outlook.

If I made new task on Outlook, Calendar in phone crashed.

If I clear this new task in Outlook, Caledar in phone normaly start and show task, which I made in phone.

We use Kerio Mail Server 8.4. with Exchange synchronization. Other phones in our company dont have any problem, we have HTCs and Samsungs.

Thank you for help
